The temperature outside is 15 but the greenhouse is a balmy 49. I have been running a bucket heater off and on in order to maintain an average water temp around 60 degrees. The wiper and tilapia are eating and growing while, the perch are progressing with feedtraining. The leaves of the aquaponics (AP) plants are a much lighter green than the plants in soil.
Both plants germinated around the same time but broccoli 1 grew much faster. After being transplanted into the AP, broccoli 2 grew quickly and has surpassed the size of broccoli 1 but the leaves are a much lighter green so I’m thinking the system might need a blast of iron. “Gee it feels good to be a Gardner”
